DIFFERENT TYPES OF CONTACT LENSES EXPLAINED

There are contact lenses designed to suit a variety of vision needs and lifestyles.

Here’s some information to help you choose the best lens for your lifestyle. However, only your eye care practitioner will be able to tell you which lenses are right for your vision needs.

Daily disposable contact lenses

Daily disposable lenses are the easiest contact lenses to look after. Simply discard them at the end of the day and switch to a fresh pair in the morning, so you don’t have to worry about cleaning them.

Wearing new lenses everyday is the most convenient and hygienic way of wearing contact lenses.

Try ACUVUE® OASYS®.

Extended wear contact lenses

Some reusable lenses can be worn continuously for several days or weeks.

However, sleeping in contact lenses is a known risk factor for serious eye infections.  Always discuss whether you should sleep wearing your lenses with your eye care practitioner. Only they can determine if sleeping in your contact lenses is right for you.

If your eye care practitioner agrees extended wear lenses are suitable, try ACUVUE® OASYS®
