Optical Coherance Tomography

OCT is an Ultra-High tech retinal scanner that Andrew & Rogers Optometrists have been using in every adult appointment for over 6 years. They are one of the very few practices that have chosen to offer this level of service. Using OCT means we do not have to get face to face with clients; we get an incredible level of information from the machine. It is sterilised after each procedure and can be done easily whilst wearing a mask.

You will be able to relax in our practice; its about 1700 square feet

45 Minute appointments

We allow 45 minutes for routine appointments. This allows us ample time in to wipe down all surfaces and equipment. 45 minutes also allows you longer with the optometrists to get the most out of their wealth of knowledge and vast experience.

Flexibility

As an independent optometrist we can offer appointments sooner and at times to suit you. As an independent optometrist we do not have corporate pressure to perform, which allows us to dedicate more of our time to finding the solution that is best for you. This also gives us a greater degree of flexibility to offer appointments sooner and offer a wider range of times then larger chain optometrists. Our incredible range of frames also reflects our freedom to chose from suppliers that create the best products.

Cleanliness

We wipe down and clean all surfaces and frames in-between clients. This protects you and ourselves, whilst allowing you to try on to your heart’s content.

PPE

All our staff wear appropriate PPE and we can provide masks, gloves and hand gel so as to remain covid secure.

Appointment-free collections and adjustments

Due to our spacious practice we are able to offer appointment-free collections and adjustments. As always, at Andrew & Rogers we will adjust any glasses bought from us free of charge until the fit is exactly as you desire.

Special COVID consultations

Here at Andrew & Rogers we understand the importance of general health as well as eyecare. We know that patients in the high risk category of COVID 19 still require a high standard of eyecare. For shielding individuals we are to offer a special consultation with only you and the optometrist present in the buildings as to give you the services you require.

Experience

Andrew and Roger have over 60 years experience between them, so have taken the new protocols in their stride. They have adapted their service to meet government requirements whilst maintaining our usual high standards of practice. Our optical assistants, Jackie and Sarah have also spent a combined 50 years working in optics, so are in the right place to ensure you get the contact lenses and/or glasses that you need and want.

All the lenses and frames at Andrew & Rogers are of the highest quality. The highest quality coatings from Zeiss & Essilor incorporate hydrophobic layers to repel moisture, easing significantly the problem of glasses steaming up! They also last a lot longer, meaning you wont be traipsing in to have scratches removed or frames tightened up.
