Feel free to book your appointment online now. Don’t worry, you won’t need to pay anything to make a booking and it doesn’t matter if you are not sure what you need, we will be able to sort everything out for you when you come in or when we call you. All of our appointments are in line with the latest COVID guidelines so you can book with us, with confidence. There is guidance on our different types of appointment below the booking options. Myopia control can be discussed during a routine appointment.

Anyone entitled to an NHS subsidy will be able to use that towards their costs. A 45 minute appointment includes a full private eye examination, with 8 scan OCT, photography and eyewear needs consultation.

Problems Appointment - Book here for the soonest possible times. Problems appointments are for things such as pain, redness, flashes, floaters, irritations, sudden changes of vision or any other issue you are worried about. Calling the NHS triage number 0800 3685152 may result in a free consultation, but we would be more then happy to see you without going through the system if you are at all worried about your eyes. If you haven’t been through the NHS number, appointments will cost no more than £69.

Routine Appointment with Andrew or Roger - Use this option to book an eye test at a time that suits you. During your appointment either Andrew or Roger will take an 8-point OCT scan, a wide field OPTOS scan and follow up with a detailed discussion to fully evaluate your optical health and issue a tailored prescription. Both of our opticians have over 20 years experience in ophthalmology so you can be assured your appointment will be of the highest standards. You do not need to have been to us before to book an appointment as we are always accepting new clients. Eye care appointments cost £99, £77 for over 60’s, £45 for under 25’s and are free for under 16’s and last roughly 45 minutes.

Free Telephone Call Back - Use this option to book a call with one of our excellent optical assistants who will be happy to assist you in any way they can. Whether that is to book you in for the correct appointment type, discuss a colorimeter test, order in a supply of contact lenses, explore our wide variety of frames or any other query you may have, our team will always be happy to help. All calls are free of charge.

Consultation With Andrew Scott - Use this option to book a time to specifically see Andrew regarding your eyecare. This option is suitable for routine eyecare appointments, contact lens consultations, problem appointments or any other reason you have to see Andrew. All you need to do is enter why you are booking the appointment and we will sort the rest. Andrew has worked in optometry for over 30 years so you can be sure he will provide the highest standards of care to ensure you get the eyecare you deserve. Consultations with Andrew and Roger cost the same amount so feel free to book in with your preferred optometrist or use the routine appointments option to see the soonest times available. Eye care appointments cost £99, £77 for over 60’s, £45 for under 25’s and are free for under 16’s and last roughly 45 minutes.

Consultation with Roger Smyth - Use this option to book a time to see Roger regarding your eyecare. This option is suitable for routine eyecare appointments, contact lens consultations, problem appointments or any other reason you have to see Roger. All you need to do is enter why you are booking the appointment and we will sort the rest. Roger has worked in optometry for over 30 years so you can be sure he will provide the highest standards of care to ensure you get the eyecare you deserve. Collection of Glasses - Use this option to book in a time to collect your glasses or contact lenses. whilst you do not need an appointment to collect, by booking we can have everything ready for the smoothest exchange when you arrive. These appointments are free of charge.

Contact Lens Consultation with either Andrew or Roger - Use this option to book a contact lens consultation at a time that suits you. During your appointment either Andrew or Roger will have a detailed discussion with you to either ensure the lenses you use are the correct fit and power to suit your needs or evaluate how contact lenses can work around your prescription and lifestyle to give you the best outcome. Both of our opticians have over 20 years experience in ophthalmology so you can be assured your appointment will be of the highest standards. You do not need to have been to us before to book an appointment as we are always accepting new clients. Contact lens consultations cost £39 and take roughly 30 minutes.

Colorimeter Test for dyslexia or migraine sufferers with Sight Test - Use this option to book in for a Colorimeter Test (Also known as a Visual Stress Test) at a time that suits you. Many of us suffer from visual stress symptoms without realising it. A Colorimeter Test will allow Andrew or Roger to investigate the potential solutions to managing these symptoms. During this test Andrew or Roger will be able to determine the exact colour that, when placed over your vision, best alleviates the visual stress symptoms you suffer. This colour can be made into precision tinted glasses which can be either prescription or non-prescription or we can issue you with an overlay that best matches the colour produced. The test takes around 30 minutes and costs £99. We require an up to date prescription to fully utilise the results of a Colorimeter Test. We are happy to add an Eye Care Appointment on to all Colorimeter Tests if you highlight this need to us in the “notes” section of the booking. Eye Care Appointments cost £99, £77 for over 60’s, £45 for under 25’s and are free for under 16’s or under 18’s in Full time education.
